Intraoral Massage
Intraoral massage is performed inside the mouth. This technique can be used to help people suffering from headaches, migraines, pain in the jaw, clenching and grinding of teeth, ringing in the ears, and temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJD) just to name a few.
During an intraoral massage session I also perform massage on the neck, face, and scalp to help address other areas that can affect jaw alignment and tension. Many people report relief from their symptoms following just a couple of sessions.
A massage therapist must complete additional training and receive an endorsement from the state of Washington to perform intraoral massage.
